This checklist is for those recording your videos on TikTok!
Before Recording:
Write a script about a topic your audience cares about.
Write the script so the first sentence of the video gets to the point of the video immediately.
There’s no industry jargon in your script. P.S. you cannot name forms in your videos.
You practiced the script before recording.
Test a small clip to see if the sound is good.
Recording:
You are in a well-lit room.
You have a tidy background.
You’re clearly seen in the frame. There is space above your head, and you can see your torso.
You are not reading your script.
You are enthusiastic and come off as an industry leader.
Editing:
There’s a straightforward video title with at least one keyword.
There’s no industry jargon in your video. For example, do not name forms in your videos.
Add captions that fit the center of the video so it doesn’t get cut off.
Add a few hashtags related to your video's topic and the people you want it to reach.
Publishing:
You can add a location to your video to reach a specific location.
Choose the “thumbnail” of the video.
Download the video before publishing so you can repurpose it for other platforms.
